Anleitung

Connect Helferlain to Cursor

Use Helferlain from Cursor. The same steps work for Codex and Windsurf: the MCP server URL is the same, only the client settings differ.

Helferlain MCP server URL

Prerequisites

  • A Cursor version with MCP support.
  • A Helferlain workspace with at least one connected ad account.

Setup steps

  1. Open Cursor, then Settings, then MCP

    In Cursor open Settings and MCP Servers, then click Add new.

  2. Configure the connector

    Set the transport to http and paste the Helferlain MCP URL above. Cursor opens the sign-in on the first call.

  3. Verify

    In a chat, ask:

    “List my Google Ads campaigns from Helferlain.”

    Cursor calls google_ads_list_campaigns and shows the response. Changes go through google_ads_mutate_with_approval: a dry run by default, a real change only with an approval token for exactly those operations, and hard limits on every path (new campaigns, ad groups and ads paused, bids at most 10 €, only bidding strategies with a bid ceiling, URLs on the profile website, bidModifier at most 1.5, lowerCamelCase keys, partialFailure: false). The app does not show approval tokens for assistants today, so real changes run in the Helferlain app.
